黄建南，号妙建，国家一级美术师。擅长油画、国画、是全球公益联盟金质勋章获得者；黄建南先生在2015年胡润艺术家排行榜排名第九位；2016年胡润艺术家排行榜排名第七位；2017年胡润艺术家排行榜排名第五位及2015年在世国宝油画艺术家排名第五位，2017年在世国宝国画家排名第八位。2017年首届华人水墨艺术榜排名第四。2018年胡润艺术排行榜排名第五、一起在世国宝国画家排行榜也排名第六和华人水墨艺术家排行榜排名第三，是现在仅有一个在油画和国画一起排名前十的画家。

现为清华大学深圳研究生院兼职研究员；我国传统文化促进会理事；文化部主管的我国文化信息协会工艺美术专业委员会专家参谋；我国美协创造中心委员会委员；我国美术家交流协会油画专业委员会副主任兼秘书长；法国国立艺术家委员会会员；法国东方文化艺术协会名誉主席；国际低碳城市联盟艺术参谋；央视微电影民族频道艺术参谋；举世旅游小姐大赛艺术参谋；法国吉尼市金质勋章荣誉市民等。

黄建南先生前期历时九年步行三万八千多公里，走遍大江南北、深化大漠村庄乡镇体验生活、写生作画。

早在1981年，黄建南著作参加西德国际家庭艺术博览会，得到了当时国内外艺术爱好者的高度重视。八十年代著作大部分被外国友人保藏及被香港商人购走。近十年，其油画、国画著作屡次被国家领导人作为国礼奉送国际友人，并分别被人民大会堂、中南海国礼中心、中央军委办公厅、全军仪仗队等保藏并颁布保藏证书。多幅油画著作被泰国皇室及诗林通公主保藏。相当一部分著作已被中外政要和一百多家艺术组织及院馆保藏。

2017年黄建南与法国历史悠久的ROSSINI拍卖行及闻名大型拍卖行AGUTTES签约，随着国画和油画著作的屡次拍卖成功，标志着黄建南著作正式进入欧美主流拍卖商场，一起也是现在我国极少数能成功进入欧洲主流拍卖商场的艺术家。

He is now the only painter who ranks top ten in oil painting and Chinese painting together.

In the early stage, Mr. Huang jiannan walked for more than 38,000 kilometers for nine years, traveling all over the country, deepening the desert villages and towns to experience life and painting.

As early as 1981, huang jiannan's works participated in the west Germany international family art fair, which was highly valued by art lovers at home and abroad at that time. Most of the works were preserved by foreign friends and bought by Hong Kong businessmen in the 1980s. In the past ten years, his oil paintings and works of traditional Chinese painting have been repeatedly presented to international friends as national gifts by state leaders, and have been preserved and issued preservation certificates by the great hall of the people, zhongnanhai national ceremony center, general office of the central military commission, honor guards of the whole army, etc. Many oil paintings were preserved by the Thai royal family and princess shilintong. Quite a few works have been preserved by Chinese and foreign dignitaries and more than 100 art organizations and museums.

In 2017, huang jianan signed a contract with ROSSINI auction house with a long history in France and AGUTTES, a famous large auction house. With the successful auctions of Chinese paintings and oil paintings, it marks that huang jianan's works have officially entered the mainstream auction market in Europe and America. Together with him, huang jianan is one of the very few Chinese artists who have successfully entered the mainstream auction market in Europe.
