The Village Super League from the Mountains Goes Global

On October 5, Guizhou Village Super League Sports Industry Co., Ltd. and Malaysia's Namhor Academy signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Rongjiang, officially establishing the Malaysia Division of the Guizhou Village Super League International Tournament. Malaysia becomes the Village Super League's first overseas division, marking the official going-global of the Village Super League model that originated in the mountains of Guizhou.

The signing coincided with the 2026 National Day holiday. During the holiday, the 3rd Guizhou Village Super League International Football Tournament kicked off in Rongjiang, bringing together 551 players from home and abroad to this hotbed of football, with Malaysia sending two teams to compete. During the tournament, a delegation from Malaysia's Southern Tigers Football Club visited Rongjiang and spoke highly of the local reception services and event organization.

In international communication, leveraging the cultural affinity of Southeast Asian Chinese communities and overseas new media platforms, the two sides will build international communication sites and open up overseas communication channels. In competition coordination, they will exchange teams to participate in the domestic Village Super League and the national Class Super League. In youth training, they will establish a two-way exchange channel for football coaches, sending professional coaches to conduct teaching and practical training, addressing the shortage of high-level youth coaches in Rongjiang.

This cooperation will use football as a fulcrum to promote two-way cultural and economic exchanges between the two countries. Representatives from both sides stated that football knows no borders and the Village Super League serves as a bridge and bond. In the future, they will work together to deepen China-Malaysia people-to-people exchanges through grassroots football.
