由西部国际传播中心和重庆卫视联合制播的重庆首档国际传播融媒栏目《渝见》第256期节目《外国人口岸签证便利政策解读》于10月21日在全球播出。

The first international broadcast program in Chongqing, the 256th episode of "Let's Meet," titled "Policy Explained: Port Visa Facilitation for Foreign Nationals," jointly produced by the WCICO and Chongqing Satellite TV, will be broadcast globally on October 21.

埃塞俄比亚与重庆相距约7000公里，如何在运输途中最大程度保留咖啡的原生香气？一批埃塞俄比亚精品咖啡豆经由西部陆海新通道，首次以铁海联运“一箱到底”模式运抵重庆团结村站。与传统运输方式相比，这一模式可将运输时间缩短10天以上。本期节目将跟随这批咖啡，看看物流通道如何让海外风味更高效地抵达中国市场。

Ethiopia and Chongqing are about 7,000 kilometers apart. How can coffee retain as much of its original aroma as possible during the journey? A shipment of specialty Ethiopian coffee beans has arrived at Chongqing's Tuanjiecun Railway Station via the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, marking the first time such coffee has been transported directly to Chongqing under the "one-container-to-the-end" rail-sea intermodal model. Compared with traditional transport, the route can cut transit time by more than 10 days. This episode follows the coffee's journey and explores how logistics links overseas producers with the Chinese market.

当地时间9月26日，“中西新时代文明对话: 中国式现代化的世界意义“国际学术研讨会在西班牙马德里举行。来自中国与西方的专家学者围绕中国式现代化的理论探索、实践经验及其世界意义展开交流，共同探讨不同文明如何在交流互鉴中增进理解。重庆围绕中国式现代化开展的相关主题出版物也在会上得到赠送与分享，为海外读者了解中国发展道路提供新的窗口。

On September 26 local time, an international symposium titled "Dialogue Between Chinese and Western Civilizations in the New Era: The Global Significance of Chinese Modernization" was held in Madrid, Spain. Chinese and Western scholars exchanged views on the theoretical development, practical experience, and global significance of Chinese modernization, exploring how different civilizations can deepen mutual understanding through dialogue and exchange. Publications focusing on Chinese modernization were also presented and shared at the symposium, offering overseas readers another window into China’s development path.

Jon Steingard Awarded as "Chongqing Cultural and Tourism Promotion Ambassador"

加拿大音乐人乔恩·斯廷加德从未到访重庆，却为这座城市创作了主题曲《光之城》。受邀来到重庆后，他登上重庆之夜音乐会的舞台，并为歌曲拍摄MV，还获授重庆文旅推广大使称号。对乔恩来说，这趟旅程让他与歌曲中的城市有了真实的连接；他也希望通过音乐，让更多人认识重庆、走近重庆。

Canadian musician Jon Steingard wrote "City of Light," a theme song for Chongqing, before ever visiting the city. After being invited to Chongqing, he performed at the "A Concert Night in Chongqing", filmed a music video for the song. He was awarded as "Chongqing Cultural and Tourism Promotion Ambassador". The visit gave him a firsthand connection with the city behind his music, and he hopes the song will encourage more people to discover Chongqing.

How can a song capture the character of a city? In an interview with iChongqing, Jon Steingard discussed the inspiration behind his song "City of Light" and how Chongqing’s modern technology, dazzling nighttime views, and energetic atmosphere influenced his songwriting. He believes a city's theme song should convey more than landmarks and scenery; it should also express the creator's passion and genuine feelings. He hopes listeners can hear his genuine feeling for Chongqing in the song.

有紧急事务需要临时来渝，却来不及办理签证，应该怎么办？哪些情况属于“紧急情形”？需要准备什么材料？本期节目中邀请了重庆市公安局出入境管理局相关工作人员来进行现场答疑，介绍外国人口岸签证便利政策，帮助有紧急来渝需求的外国人了解相关办理指引。

What should foreign nationals do if they need to travel to Chongqing urgently but do not have enough time to apply for a visa in advance? What situations qualify as urgent, and what documents are required? In this episode, we invite officer Xu from the Exit-Entry Administration of Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau to answer these questions and explain port visa facilitation policies, helping foreign nationals who need to travel to Chongqing at short notice understand the relevant application procedures.
